VBulletin Integration
Installation/Uninstallation Guide

The purpose of this document is to provide you with guidance on the installation and
deactivation processes of the VBulletin Integration extension for Magento.

Software requirements:
Installed Magento of version 1.3.2, 1.3.2.1, 1.3.2.2, 1.3.2.3 or 1.3.2.4.
Installed VBulletin v3.7.0 or higher. PLEASE NOTE that for the integration to work VBulletin needs to be
installed on PHP5 hosting.

How to install the module:
This guide assumes that you have successfully downloaded VBulletin Integration extension and have the zip file
"unzipped".

STEP 1. (MANDATORY).
Please check the version of your VBulletin software – the module is only compatible with version 3.7.0 and
higher/newer ones. After that please copy the “includes” folder and “aitmagentovb.php” file inside the
“vbulletin_upload” folder of the module package (VBulletin Integration/vbulletin_upload) to the root directory of
your VBulletin software, using an FTP client.

STEP 2. (MANDATORY).
Please go to vBulletin AdminCP >> Plugins & Products >> Manage Products page. After that click “Add/Import
Product” link, browse for “Aitoc MagentoVB.xml” file from “VBulletin Integration/vbulletin_import” folder of the

1.3.2.4). After that, please upload the “app” and “skin” folders from the “VBulletin Integration/magento_upload”
folder of the module package to the root directory of your Magento software, using an FTP client.

STEP 4. (MANDATORY).
Please make sure that the “app” directory of your Magento and all directories inside it have full write permissions
(are chmodded to 777), this is also needed for future Magento upgrades.
